Chiropractic History

Dr. Daniel David Palmer (D. D. Palmer) created chiropractic when he gave the first chiropractic adjustment to a deaf man, Harvey Lillard, on September 18, 1895. His son, Dr. Bartlett Joshua Palmer (B. J. Palmer), became the central figure in chiropractic until his passing in 1961.
